The memory of the forest: a collection of testimonies and memoirs

The collection of testimonies and memoirs on the valley forests has begun in the September 2018: it’s implemented by contacting a group of selected elderly people from the Aterno Valley.

The result of this survey will be published within a booklet of the “Quaderni dell’Aterno” collection and will serve to make the population and technicians aware of the trend of  woods and pastures of our valley so as to be more able to decide what do for the future.

In the same booklet will be included, info about the local forests and their status, global warming and  its effect on the forest, Model Forest concept and its implementation.
