Abruzzo Regional Council ratified the Memorandum of Understanding

On 18 June 2018 the Abruzzo Regional Council ratified the Memorandum of Understanding to join the International Network of Model Forests (here attached the resolution and the Memorandum).

This act is the final result of a long lobbying and advocating activity brought forward by the ILEX team in the last year. Along with this membership, the Abruzzo Region decrees its own interest in the Model Forest system with the aim of creating on its territory the second pilot project in Italy where a participated and sustainable management of forest areas will be experienced.
