Farmers Market in the old square of the village of Fontecchio

After a long lasting work of person-to-person contacts and networking with the Sirente-Velino Natural Park farmers, ILEX has promoted a street Sunday market to support local farmers to find new buyers for their niche, top quality produces.

Taking advantage from the national event called “FAI spring days” (FAI is the Italian National Trust) and from the stream of people it normally generates, this market has also hosted a selection of representative of the nearby urban areas “GAS” (supporting purchasing groups) who are interested to become potential buyers of the local produces.
