Technical Assistance to Farmers in the Sirente Velino Natural Park

The Technical Assistance Unit (TAU) set up by ILEX to support local farmers in the SVNP carried out the first round of contacts to identify the most dynamic and active farmers in the area. The TAU is engaging with the farmers to identify areas of collaboration and synergic actions with other ongoing projects, especially on  those supporting young people in agriculture, organic, and pastoralism through the Rural Development Plan 2014-2020. This action will continue over the next weeks, with the purpose is to set up a team of small rural enterprises who can be best position to tap RDP funds for produce processing, packaging and marketing of value chains.
