Rediscovering our woods

On September and October 2018, a program of guided tours though the woods for the valley residents and tourists has been launched in order to raise awareness about the woods features and to compare and gather the opinions of technicians, farmers, breeders, environmentalists and other stakeholders of this land about the wood and its management: these different and sometimes conflicting opinions need to be considered in the Model Forest strategic plan we’re going to develop.

Beside it, in some municipalities that are about to join “Model Forest”, some Forest Model inception evenings aimed to the local citizens have been organized: they will also be an opportunity to gather “bottom-up” opinions to implement the Model Forest strategic plan.
